ASTRA-MED GEORGIA is dedicated to advancing aerospace and space medicine in Georgia through scientific research, education, professional development, and international collaboration. We bring together physicians, scientists, researchers, students, and other professionals to foster interdisciplinary exchange and create meaningful opportunities to learn, collaborate, and contribute to the evolving field of aerospace and space medicine.

Through partnerships with international organizations and experts, we aim to strengthen Georgia's presence within the global space-health community, support emerging professionals, and facilitate research and innovation that contribute to the health, safety, and performance of humans in aviation and spaceflight.

Our vision is to establish Georgia as a recognized and active contributor to the global field of aerospace and space medicine. We envision a future in which Georgia has a strong and connected space-health community, where professionals and young researchers have access to world-class education, mentorship, research opportunities, and international collaboration.

We aspire to create pathways for the next generation — including women and other underrepresented groups — to participate meaningfully in aerospace and space medicine, while fostering scientific excellence and innovation.
